DESCRIPTION: An all position general purpose electrode with good fusion characteristics and penetration. Well suited to bridge gaps on poor fit-up jobs. Handles easily on light sheet metals as well as on heavy steel structures. Weld has smooth, well-rounded beads with closely rippled surface. The fillets are convex without undercutting.
APPLICATIONS: Repair and maintenance work and fabrication of all types of machinery such as construction equipment, farm implements, truck bodies, auto parts, storage tanks, metal furniture, ornamental iron work, sheet metals etc.

DESCRIPTION: The counterpart of Wipweld 10 designed to take advantage of AC welding characteristics. An all position electrode with deeply penetrating spray-type arc. Bead is flat with thin brittle slag. Weld has high tensile strength, ductility and is of X-ray quality, high melt-down rate and deposition efficiency due to presence of iron powder in coating. "Fast freeze" metal gives excellent weldability in vertical, horizontal and overhead positions. Weld metal recovery with respect to the core wire is about 85%.
APPLICATIONS: Storage tanks, boilers, pipes, galvanized plates structural steel, freight cars, heavy equipment, refinery structures, ships, barges, etc.
